Mission Statement

The Okaloosa-Walton Child Care Services mission is to promote leadership for the development of a quality child care system that ensures the well-being of children and their families.

We make it easy to find information about child care and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

Child Care Services is a nonprofit agency providing free resource and referral services to area families.

Services include:

• Eligibility screening for School Readiness (subsidized) child care assistance
• Listings of area child care providers, hours, and rates (CCR&R
• Parenting education and information
• Education Center and toy lending library
• Training/technical assistance: developmental, special needs, and health screenings
